The Project
Naxcrow is an AI-assisted, multi-gateway escrow platform built to make peer-to-peer trade across Africa safe. Buyers and sellers transact through a trusted neutral middleman backed by machine-learning fraud detection.
What stood in the way
P2P transactions across Africa had high fraud rates and no trusted neutral middleman. Buyers feared paying first; sellers feared shipping first. Trade stalled on mistrust.
How we built it
We built an escrow platform with an AI fraud-detection layer, multi-currency support, and three settlement rails — Paystack, Flutterwave, and bank transfer. A structured dispute-resolution system protects both sides until conditions are met.
